For an upcoming Blipshift design, I need a car whose image can be immediately associated with lemons, of either the citrus or automotive kind. The design will basically say "When Life Gives You (Car)..." I'm sure you understand this. I was thinking to use either a Ford Pinto or a Yugo GV.
Here's a crashed/pretty badly dented Audi S5 with a manual transmission I saw at the local dealership.

It even looks like a lemon.

1992 Pontiac Le mans.
ITS EVEN HAS MOST OF THE WORD "LEMON" IN ITS NAME.

AMC Pacer. It's even lemon shaped.

My vote is pretty much any WRX with a Monster Energy or DC Shoes sticker. You just know it's been beaten to sh*t by some highscooler and maybe a few blocks away from puking out its internals

Unfortunately, the Audi Allroad comes to mind.

Yes, but they are less universally well-known than the Pacer.

Boxy Late 80s Early 90s American Cars.
I always think of those as lemons.
Sunbird usually first because some girl in my school had one that broke down every day, also she purchased it, it wasn't a hand-me down or anythig. This was Early 2014, in 2014 you could not find a better car than a beater sunbird for under $1000?

This. ^
Whoever thought it was a good idea to name a car after a creature that causes mechanical failures when you're not looking?

i think lemons by definition are new cars. a 30 year old car that breaks down every day just sounds like a 30 year old car.
nevertheless, she definitely couldve found a better $1000 car.

I'm guessing Citroën doesn't make a bad car, because that name would be quite a fit.

For me, it's one of these. I knew about 5 different people who owned these, 2 became lemon law buybacks, 2 got sold off because of reliability., and the last person used it as an extra car at their place in Florida.
My Runner-Up:
It's only been ten years since they stopped making Freelander's, yet finding a running one on the road is impossible.

There are 30 year old Rx7s, Ferraris and Porsches, which probably break down alot but I wouldn't consider them lemons. The Boxy American late 80s early 90s Sedan always comes to mind as a lemon.
